Half Day Walk and Wade

Step into the river and experience Alaska fly fishing up close. Our walk and wade trips take place on Willow Creek and the surrounding water. These trips are perfect for targeting Leopard Rainbow Trout, Dolly Varden, Arctic Grayling and seasonal Salmon while enjoying the beauty of Alaska's wild landscapes.

Your guide will help with fly selection, reading water, casting techniques, and fish handling to ensure you get the most out of your day. Walk and wade trips are great for anglers of all experience levels and provide a more hands-on, intimate fishing experience.

  • Not at all. We love working with beginners. We'll teach you everything you need — casting, reading water, and presenting flies — right on the river.

  • Depending on the season you'll have the opportunity to target wild rainbow trout, dolly varden, sockeye salmon, silver salmon, and pink salmon. We'll tailor the day based on what's running.

  • Yes — all anglers 16 and older need a valid Alaska sport fishing license. You can purchase one online at the Alaska Department of Fish & Game website before your trip. Day licenses are available.
