Rooted in a shared passion for wild places and moving water, Last Frontier Fly Fishing is a small, family-run operation based out of Anchorage, Alaska. Together, we’ve built this experience to reflect what we value most—authentic adventure, thoughtful guiding, and time well spent outdoors.

Robert brings over a decade of experience guiding anglers across the West, with deep roots in Montana’s renowned river systems. For the past 10 years, he has led both single- and multi-day trips on rivers throughout the state, building a reputation for expertise, reliability, and a deep understanding of the water.

After relocating to Alaska, Robert expanded his guiding career to include Willow Creek and surrounding waters, bringing his wealth of knowledge and passion to a new landscape while continuing to deliver memorable adventures for anglers of all skill levels.

As a family, we’ve spent years exploring the outdoors together, completing numerous multi-day backcountry adventures and developing a deep respect for the landscapes we now share with our guests. Alongside our three dogs, we’ve made Alaska home and are proud to offer a personalized, high-quality experience that reflects both our professional background and our love for the wild.
